Spinach Pizza Ball

Spinach Pizza ball is made from wheat flour and spinach and stuffed from pizza stuffing.




 

Ingredients to make Spinach Pizza Ball

  • For dough
  • 1 1/4 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped Spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Water as required to knead the dough
  • For Stuffing
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • Black pepper powder as required
  • 21/2 tbsp pizza sauce
  • salt as required
  • italian herbs(Oregano, Rosemary, red chili flakes) as required
  • 5 tbsp grated Amul cheese (or any cheese)
  • oil for greasing pizza bomb












How to make Spinach Pizza Ball

  1. In a bowl , add all ingredients which are mentioned in dough except water and oil. Mix well.
  2. Add oil and mix well. Add water gradually and knead the hard dough.
     









  3. Wrap it with plastic and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, add all ingredients of stuffing and mix well. 
  5. Preheat the oven at 375 F
  6. Now divide the dough into equal ball.
  7. Roll the balls and place 1 tbsp stuffing inside the balls and sealed it properly  
  8. Now on baking tray , place the parchment paper and and keep all balls on the tray. 
  9. Put the tray in oven for 30-35 minutes.
  10. You can check after 30 minutes and grease with the oil.
  11. Spinach Pizza bombs are ready




My Tip:You can add yeast if you want You can add olives, Jalapeno etc.

Lauki muthiya


One more healthy and delicious snack Lauki muthiya..
It is most popular snack from Gujarat ..



Lauki muthiya absorbs less oil and is made with steam. You can serve it in the morning as well as in the evening as a snack. 



Ingredients 

Knead the Flour 


1 1/2  cup Grated lauki (Bottled Gourd)
3/4 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup Gram flour
1/2 cup Sooji (semolina)
1 tsp green chili paste
1/2 tsp ginger paste
11/2 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Oil 1 tbsp
salt 1 tsp (or as per taste)
A pinch of baking soda




For tempering


2 tbsp oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds 
A pinch of kashmiri red chili powder (Optional)
salt as per taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Finely chopped cilantro leaves




Method

Squeeze out the water from the grated lauki and keep it in a separate bowl.

Sieve the wheat flour, sooji , gram flour and baking soda in a bowl and put grated lauki and all the other ingredients mentioned above to knead the flour into it. Make a smooth dough from this mixture and leave it covered for 30 minutes. You can use the the squeezed out water of the lauki to knead the flour.
Apply oil on your hand and take a small portion of the dough. Make as many long round rolls from the dough as you can. Now its the time to cook the prepared Muthias.



     

  

Now prepare steamer, momo-maker or  idli stand to make muthiya. Fill water in the vessel and put the stand over it. Start keeping all the muthiya on the stand one by one and cover it with a lid. Steam the muthiya for about 30-35 minutes. Now put a fork inside the muthiya to check if it is properly steamed and cooked. If the fork comes out clean, then the muthiya is ready. Turn off the flame.

     
Let them cool down and then cut into thick small pieces. 

For tempering
Heat oil in a pan and then add mustard seeds, sesame  into it. Once the mustard seeds start cracking then add add Kashmiri red chili powder. salt, pieces of muthiya and mix well.
Add coriander leaves and mix gently. Cook it for 6-8 minutes on medium gas.
Turn off the gas. Add lemon juice. Mix well.
Lauki  Muthiya is ready. Serve it with green chutney.


















Tip :-

1) When your muthiya is ready after steaming, you can taste salt , sugar or any spices
so according to your taste you can adjust the quantity of spices in the tempering...

Oats dhokla

Oats dhokla is definitely healthy and tasty dhokla...
If you bored with besan dhokla or rava dhokla , and wants to try something healthy and delicious.













So this is the nicest way of including oats in your breakfast or snacks ...

No fermentation required












Ingredients

3/4 cup oats flour  (In a grinder , grind oats and make powder out of it.)
1/4 cup Semolina/sooji/Rava
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 cup yogurt/curd
1/2 cup luke warm water

1 tbsp Eno + 1 tbsp water

For tempering

1 tbsp oil
11/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp red chili powder
 1 tbsp lemon juice
For garnishing

Some finely chopped cilantro
some coconut flakes/powder






Method

In a grinder , grind oats and make powder out of it.

In a bowl add curd and lukewarm water and whisk well.

In a bowl add oats powder , sooji , salt and sugar and mix well. Add curd mixture and whisk well.


Now prepare the steamer and greases the container.

When steamer is ready, then add Eno + 1 tbsp water into the sooji mixture and whisk .

Quickly pour the batter in to a greased container.


Put the container in steamer and steam for 15 minutes on high gas.
Check after 15 minutes, if its ready then turn off the gas and leave it for 2-3 minutes. else keep it more for 5 minutes.

Now prepare tempering.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds , when it cracks then add red pepper powder.
Pour the tempering over dhokla and sprinkle lemon juice.

Cut the pieces as desired...

Garnish with cilantro and coconut powder
Serve with green chutney


Note :- You can add green chili & ginger paste in batter for more spicy.

Mini Balushahi








Balushahi is a very famous dessert.... It is crunchy and flaky from outside and soft from inside...

The delicious and mouthwatering Mini Balushahi is a famous dish of Indian and is very much popular in the whole worldwide. This dish is often reserved for any special occasion like parties or festivals. Mini Balushahi is the best option for you when you want to eat or cook something really perfect. It is an amazing dish which is liked by the people of every age group. The flavorful and saporous ingredients are the key to the amazing taste of Mini Balushahi


Ingredients :-


For dough
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp curd
2 tbsp ghee

For sugar syrup


1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
A pinch of cardamom

some finely chopped pistachios

Ghee for deep fry


Method :-

In a bowl, seive the Maida and banking soda together..
Add ghee and mix well (It will like bread crumb consistency)



Add curd and mix well.
Add water and make medium soft dough. Cover it with damp clothe and keep it for 40 minutes.
      

   
Now heat oil/ghee in a pan for deep fry...

Divide the dough into equal small parts,  make the balls and using your thumb make a make a slight dent in the center of the ball..


When the oil is medium hot then add balls into oil and fry it gently from both sides.
Entire process may take around 20 minutes . Remove it and keep it on absorbent paper.

(Fry it on low-medium gas, so it can be cooked from inside)


Now prepare sugar syrup,
Cook the sugar with water in a pan, stirring occasionally, till the sugar dissolves. Add cardamo powder. Continue to cook till syrup till  one string consistency.



    

Now remove the sugar syrup from the gas and soaked all balushahi in the sugar syrup for about an hour.

Garnish with pistachios.

Enjoy yummy delicacy....









Tip:-

1) Don't  over work on dough...
2) Fry balushahi on low medium gas, it will cooked from inside
if you fry it on high gas, then balushahi will be uncooked from inside .

3) You can make any size of balushahi

Mohanthal Barfi/Besan Barfi



Mohanthal barfi/besan barfi is a very famous North-Indian sweet ..
It is made from gram four and lots of dry fruits...
It is very rich dessert and of course mouth-watering .
I am giving here very simple recipe







Ingredients

Besan/Gram flour  2 cup
Powdered sugar  1 cup
3 tbsp milk
ghee 3/4 cup
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
3-4 saffron leaves
finely chopped almonds, pistachios
1/4 cup water



Method
In a bowl , add besan , 2 tbsp ghee and 2 tbsp milk and mix well  using your finger tips till no lumps remain....

In a pan add ghee , once ghee melt and hot then add besan mixture and roast it until it become golden brown on medium gas 
Stir it continuously , make sure besan should not burn.
(It will take approx 10-12 minutes)

While roasting make sure there are no lumps left in the mixture.
Turn the gas on low 




  


Add some chopped almonds and pistcahios.
Add cardamom powder and saffron and mix well..

Now add powdered sugar and mix well. Add water and mix well. 

Mix fast and you will see the mixture thickening. 
Turn off the gas and mix whole besan mixture for 2 minutes continuously.



Now grease the plate with ghee...
Take out all besan mixture on the plate and press it lightly.
Garnish with chopped pistachios.





keep it aside for 20 minutes then cut the slices into square shape or desire shape.........


















Note :-

1) During roasting besan, gas should be on medium otherwise besan can be burn on high gas
2) If you are using granulated sugar , for barfi make sugar syrup in one thread consistency and mix it in roasted besan....

3) You can garnish with silver leaf
4)This recipe can be make only from powdered sugar...
