Oats Tikki or Pattie or cutlates

Oats Tikki ...healthy, yummy snack for breakfast or tea-time ......




Ingredients:-

1 cup Oats
1/4 cup poha
2 tbsp green chili and ginger paste
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt (or acc to taste)
1/4 tsp corainder powder
1/4 tsp Mango powder
1 tsp water (or as required)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

Oil for shallow fry



Method :-

Blend oats in a blender and make powdered
Soak poha for 5 minutes in water and drained




Mix oats powder , drained poha, green chili paste, spices, Onion, cilantro and water.
Mix well and make dough. It should be little smooth and little firm .

 


Divide it into equal parts and make round pattie or tikkis  (or any shape as per your choice)

Heat the pan or skillet (Tawa). Place the  tikkis on the skillet on medium heat. Put some oil on the tikkis. Cook it for some time (2 minutes approx ) then turn them ..put some oil on it . And cook them. Turn again and again until tikkis become golden brown and crispy.
Tikkis should be cook on medium gas.
(it will take 12-15 minutes approximately)





Oats Tikkis are ready to serve. Serve with sauce or any chutney.

You can do also deep fry the oats tikkis.


Tips:- 
You can add more vegetables like shredded cabbage , cauliflower, carrots, potato.
Add Corns , peanuts, paneer and cheese to make more delicious and healthy.
You can make burger also by using oat tikkis . It will be kid friendly.
Instead of poha, boiled potato can be used.
