Eggless Mango cake in pressure cooker

No oven , No Egg, No Maida, No condensed milk, No butter...

Still Yummy and healthy cake

Mango Cake 



Enjoy Mango cake

Ingredients 

3/4 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup Sooji /Semolina
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Mango puree
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking Soda
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp oil

some Almonds for garnishing

Oil/butter for greasing container


Method


Grease container with the oil/butter




Place a ring or hot pot stand  in pressure cooker. Remove the gasket(Cooker lid rubber) and whistle from the cooker lid .

Close the cooker and preheat cooker for 5 minutes on medium gas.


 


 

In a blender, add all ingredients except Almonds. and blend for 2 minutes at the interval of 30 seconds


Now Transfer the mixture into greased container. Spread some chopped/sliced Almonds









Place the cake tray/container inside the cooker on top of the ring or stand.
The cooker has to be hot inside.
Cover the cooker with the lid
Note :- Remove the gasket (ring) and whistle from the cooker

Bake the cake for 50 to 60 min on a low flame.
After 50 minutes , insert the tooth pick and check if its come  clean then cake is fully baked.
Otherwise cook it more for 5-10 minutes.




 


 




Turn off the gas.
Take out cake container with the help of clothes or mittens.


Let the cake cool completely.


 


 







Your mango cake is ready.

You can eat  like that or decorate as per your desire.



Note :-

1)You can add mango chunks, choco chips, tutti fruti or other dryfruits.
2) After blend the mixture , you can taste raw mixture for checking the sweetness.
