Vermicelli Kheer with Icecream

Vermicelli kheer with ice-cream is a dessert with chia seeds. It is the combination of pudding and ice-cream. Enjoy...

It can be a great dessert for get togethers.
Enjoy with your friends and family.




Ingredients:-

3-4 cup milk
3/4 cup Vermicelli sev
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup sugar (or as per taste)
dry fruits like 7-8 pieces of Pistachio, Almonds, Cashew
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
5-6 Saffron leaves
Any ice-cream of your taste
For Garnishing
Dry fruits

Vermicelli Kheer

Boil the milk in a pan on medium heat till milk become thick.

Mean while roast the vermicelli sev (or can use roasted sev)

Add roasted vermicelli in the milk  and Saffron and cook it for 5-6 minutes.


Add sugar, cardamom powder, dry fruits.

Cook for a minute more.
Turn off the gas. Keep aside for cool down.
and also can keep it in Freeze.

Take a cup of water and add chia seeds for an hour.
 after an hour


Serving Time
Take any glass or any bowl of your choice
Add the layer of chia seeds. Add vermicelli milk......
then add chia seeds....one scoop of ice-cream.





Garnish with dry fruits.

Vermicelli Puff

Enjoy Vermicelli puff  ...It is easy to make, yummy to eat and can be enjoy at any time whatever picnic, potluck, tea-time, b'day parties.......

And also the use of left over vermicelli

 



For four pieces

Ingredients:-
Puff pastry sheets. (Here I am using wheat puff pastry sheet.)

Method:-

Take one sheet from the freezer and keep it at room temperature.

Take some flour on the sheet and roll with the help of rolling pin.


Cut pastry with a sharp utensil or knife or pizza cutter(or you can use any cookie cutter for any shape).
I cut the sheet into eight pieces of equal size.
Take one piece keep one spoon of vermicelli and covered with another piece . Use water between layers to sealed them properly.






Use the fork to prick them.


Pre heat the oven on 400F 


Bake the puff pieces for 8 minutes then turn and do it again for 8 minutes. Turn down the temperture to 350 F and keep the puff for 10 minutes .

To turn puff a deep golden-brown , brush tops with butter or ghee.

Hot and Crispy puff are ready.

Maggi Veg Cutlet


Maggi cutlates are crispy from outer and tender from inside....It is the combination of different flavours....Maggi masala, bread, spices, veggies....
This is a great snack for any potluck or any party.




For 18-20 Pieces
Ingredients:-

 3 packets of Maggi
Maggi masala
4-5 Bread pieces
1/4 cup finely grated cauliflower
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely grated green bell pepper
2-3 finely chopped green chili
1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
salt to taste
1/2 tsp Mango powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional)
1/4 tsp coriander powder

Chaat masala

Method:-
Take 3 glass water and add maggi and boil well.
Drain it and cool down for 10 minutes.
Take bread and dip into water and drained completely ...and break into pieces(maggi should be boil little more)

Mix with the help of hands ...Add all vegetables, bread and spices and maggi masala .Mix well.
(If you think that the maggi dough is not binding then add some more bread pieces).




Divide dough into equal pieces  and make them in a round shape or whatever you want.


heat oil in a pan for deep fry.....
fry on medium -low heat..it will make crispy.









When they are fried properly ...sprinkle some chaat masala over it...
Enjoy hot maggi cutlate with any chutney or sauce.

Spices can adjust according to your taste.....

Bread upma

Bread upma is the combination of veggies, spices and breads.
If you have left over bread slices..this is the best . It is easy to make.



Ingredients :-

1 Onion finely chopped
3-4 curry leaves
1 Tomato finely tomato
1-2 green chili finely chopped
5-6 bread slices
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
half lemon
finely chopped cilantro
Roasted Peanuts (optional)



Method :-

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, when it cracks add curry leaves and green chili. Saute for few seconds.
Add onion and stir until it will get brown in color.
Add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder. Mix well.
Add tomatoes and cook it until they will get tender.


Cut the bread into small pieces.

Add all bread pieces into pan. mix well cook for a minute.
Add peanuts. Turn off the gas. Add lemon juice.
Garnish with the cilantro.


Tips :-
More vegetables can add like peas, bell peppers for make more healthy .
Spices can adjust as per your taste.

Baked Mini Kachoris and Samosas

Rainy season or winter season or any season ......

Try this delicious baked mini samosa and kachori recipe for your next party or get-together.

Ingredients:-

For Dough:-

3 cup Maida or All purpose flour
1 cup Oil or ghee 
1 1/2  tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon Ajwain (Carrom seed)
About 1 cup water or  as required

For Stuffing:-

3/4 cup green moong dal (lentils)
1/2 tbsp grinded fennel seeds (saunf)
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tbsp dry mango powder (amchoor)
1/4 tsp garam masala 
Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1tbsp salt (adjust to your taste)
1tbsp oil
1 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp green chili paste
1/2 tbsp ginger paste      
(Spices can adjust according to your taste)



Method:-

Knead the dough ....Take a Bowl , add flour , salt, ajwain . Mix well.
Add oil and mix together until all oil corporated into the flour.
Add water and knead into the smooth firm dough.
Set aside and Wrap by plastic or muslin cloth for 20- 25 minutes.





Stuffing:-



Soak dal for 3-4 hours and drain proper.  
Take a blender , add moong dal, add all spices, green chili paste
Mix well. Blend in a blender .Make a thick paste.
Take a pan . add 1 tablespoon oil .

      Add dal paste in a frying pan and roast on medium heat for about 5 minutes. 

     Turn off the heat. Let the mixture cool off.
      ( If you think the paste is very rigid then add one tablespoons of warm water and mix it well and Let it sit for 10 minutes).


For samosas :-
Divide dough in to equal small bowls.
Roll out each portion in to  thin oval shape.
Divide the oval into two through cut from medium.
Lift one side of the flat edge and brush plain water on it. Lift the opposite side and overlap the  edges to form a cone shape. Press the edges gently
Stuff the dal mixture into the cone. Seal top edge gently.


 

 

 

 







Your samosa are ready ....

For Kachori

Take a big bowl. Roll with the help of roller in thin oval shape or round shape.
With the help of cookie cutter or and cork or lid of any bottle, cut small round part.
 Stuff the dal mixture and fold properly with every edge of kachori.
Your kachoris are ready.


 

 







Preheat the oven at 350 degree (F)
Now take any oven tray or plate , grease with little oil....Put all kachoris and samosas and keep the tray in oven for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes , turn the samosas and kachodi......and keep it back in the oven for more 20 minutes.
Your kachori and samosas are ready.




Serve hot with the green chutney or tamarind chutney or sweet chutney....
