Gulab Jamun


Gulab Jamun is a dessert. Enjoy at any festive time , get-together and parties.









Ingredients:-

2 cup Milk powder or Khoya
1/4 cup All purpose flour or Maida
1 tbsp Oil or ghee
1/4 cupmilk or as needed

For Sugar syrup

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
3-4 saffron leaves
1/4 tbsp  cardamom powder

Oil or ghee for deep fry

Method :-

Take a bowl . Mix khoya and maida . Mix well Add milk and Ghee .Knead the dough . Use some oil on the plam to make smooth dough.
 


Allow to sit it for 15 minutes.
Mean time we will prepare sugar syrup
take a pan .Add sugar and water . Boil this on medium heat . Add Cardaomom powder and saffron. Boil for 10- 12 minutes or until sugar resolve. Turn off the gas,

 






Heat the oil on medium heat for deep fry.

Take the dough. Divide in to small equal parts. Roll them and give shape as per your choice.


 


Fry the balls on medium low gas. (Note:- Don't put these balls on high gas)
Until they get golden brown in colour.


Take them on paper. 




Add balls on syrup. Boil  syrup for five minutes more and Turn off the gas.
 

Gulab Jamun is ready. Serve hot or cold.

Tips:-
Gulab jamun can coated with coconut, and chocolate.
