Postpartum Ladoo recipes || Indian diet || Dates Ladoo || Gond Ladoo || No Sugar || No Jaggery || Lacation ladoo

ile speaking of pregnancy one often always thinks of those nine-months during which a mother’s diet is very important. The phase that follows is often neglected from the discourse. Turns out that the new mother is almost as vulnerable, just as when she was expecting and requires good care and a wholesome diet. 


Traditionally in India, new mothers are offered certain foods during the first forty days after childbirth to gain strength and nourishment.

These Ladoos We are going to make without sugar , without jaggery and with two tablespoon ghee.

             

Ingredients

11/2 cup Almonds

3/4 cup Walnuts

3/4 cup Pistachios

1 cup flax seeds

1/2 cup Melon seeds

1/2 cup Pumpkin seeds

1 cup Makhane /Lotus seeds / foxnuts

3 tbsp Gond / edible gum

1 cup coconut powder  + 1/4 cup for coating 

2 tbsp ghee

2 cup Dates

2 Cup warm water


Method 

In the pan, roast almonds and roast it for 2-3 minutes or until it become crunchy in texture on medium to low gas.

Add pistachios and walnuts and roast it for 2-3 minutes or until it become crunchy in texture on medium to low gas..

Add melon seeds and pumpkin seeds and roast it for 1-2 minutes or until it become crunchy in texture on medium to low gas.

Add flax seeds and roast it for 1-2 minutes or until it become crunchy in texture on medium to low gas.

 Add makhane and roast it for 2-3 minutes or until it become crunchy in texture on medium to low gas.

 Add 1 tbsp ghee and stir fry gond / edible gum until it become fluffy.

Transfer all to the plate. Let them cool down and grind in the grinder and make coarse powder.


In the bowl add 2 cup dates with 2 cup hot water for 10 minutes.


Then blend in the blender and make paste.


Now make ladoo mixture.

Heat pan , add 1 tbsp ghee and add dates paste. Stir it for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture become thick. 

now add grinded Coarse dryfruits powder. and 1 cup Coconut powder . Mix well for few seconds.

Combine mixture and transfer it to the plate / tray.


Let it cool down little bit .

and start making ladoos.


You can coat some ladoos with the coconut powder as well.


Healthy and delicious ladoos are ready .




Tip :-

1) Stir continuously since we are not adding any ghee while roasting dryfruits, so they might can burn

2) Roast on medium to low gas.

3) Adjust the quantity of nuts as per your choice

4) You can keep this ladoos in airtight container for two months.
