Sabudana vada (Crispy Sago fritters) in Airfryer

Healthy healthy healthy and Of course yummy.............

Sabudana vada is a very light and crispy vada from outer and soft from inside.....
Basically Sabudana preferred during fasting days like Navratri, Janmasthmi , Shivratri, ekadshi etc......
Healthy Sabudana vada recipe in Airfryer
No oil...
These vadas are so yummy, you don't need to wait for fasting days to eat these vadas............






So enjoy healthy version of sabudana vada

Ingredients


1/2 cup Sabudana
1 medium size boiled potato
1/2 cup roasted peanut
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp green chili paste
1/2 tsp ginger paste

some finely chopped cilantro

oil/ghee for greasing




Method 


Preparation

Washed and soaked Sabudana for 4-5 hrs and drained completely.
Grind peanuts in grinder and make coarsely powder
Peeled and mashed the boiled potato

Cooking

Now, In a bowl add sabudana and mash it properly.
Add potato, peanut powder, salt, green chili and ginger paste, cilantro and black pepper.
Mix and mash well.
Grease your hand and make balls and give them as desire shape.

 





Now main part :)

Airfryer Time

(Every Airfryer time can vary)

Now Preheat Airfryer on 180 F for 5 minutes.
Then place some foil paper and grease it with the oil
(Otherwise vadas can stick)

Then place the vadas in Airfryer on 150 F for 10 minutes.
Turn vadas and keep it on 160 F for 8-10 minutes.

Grease lightly with oil from both side
then set the temperature on 180 F for 5-6 minutes (for both side).

Sabudana vadas become light brown in color and crispy from outer and soft from inside...



So enjoy Hot and Healthy Sabudana vadas with green chutney /yogurt(curd)









Tips :-

1) Sabudana should be washed properly (3-4 times with the water)
2) Sabudana should be soaked properly (4-5 hrs)
3) Sabudana should be drained properly..otherwise vadas become sticky...
(For drained well...keep the sabudana in drainer for 15-20 minutes).

4) If you feel that vada mixture is sticky, you can add more peanut powder or potato or kuttu/Rajgira flour.
