डलिया उपमा स्वस्थ और स्वादिष्ट || Daliya Upma Healthy and delicious






Daliya is very famous in India. Its very healthy and its has high quantum of fibre.

Today we are going to make Daliya Upma.
Its very delicious and a great combination of vegetables and daliya.







Ingredients

1 cup of Broken wheat/daliya/cracked wheat
1 tbsp oil/ghee  for roasting daliya


11/2 tbsp oil /ghee
1 tsp mustrad seeds
4-5 Curry leaves
3-4 Whole dry red chili
1-2 tbsp roasted peanuts
1-2 tbsp cashews
1-2 finely chopped green chili

3/4 tsp or Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
Vegetables of your choice (like peas, french beans, carrots , bell pepper)
31/2 cup of water
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Method

Grind the daliya in a grinder and make coarse powder.
heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan
Add daliya and roast for 3-4 minutes on medium gas or until it become brown in color.

Now daliya has roasted.

Heat 11/2 tbsp oil/ghee in a pan.
Add mustard seeds, when it start cracking then add curry leaves, dry red chili, green chili, peanuts and cashews and saute for few seconds.

Add onion and saute for few feconds until it become brown.
Add tomatoes and cook for few seconds.
Add all vegetables and add salt and mix well.
Cook it for few seconds then add daliya and add 31/2 cup of water and cook it for 8-10 minutes on medium gas or until it cooked.

Daliya is ready.
Add lemon juice and cilantro , Mix well.
Turn off the gas. Cover with lid.

Serve hot.
