Oats Poha

Oats Poha...
Its healthy, yummy and easy recipe. You can enjoy this in breakfast or tea-time.


 



Ingredients:-

1 cup Oats
1 -2 finely chopped green chili
1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
1 cup finely chopped Tomato
1/4 cup finely chopped Cilantro
1/4 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Mustard seed
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
A pinch of asafoetida


Method :-

Take a pan or wok . Roast oats for 2 minutes on medium gas.



Keep aside it. Heat oil in same pan . Add mustard seeds and asafoetida, when it cracks then add green chili , onions, turmeric and salt. Sir for 3-4 minutes. Add tomatoes cook for 5 minutes in medium gas.



Add Oats and mix well . Cook it for 5 minutes on medium low gas.
Turn off the gas. Add lemonjuice. Mix well
Garnish with cilantro and peanuts.





Tips:-

You can add vegetables as per your choice
Oil is optional. Without oil it can be more healthier.
